Where is the wisdom we have lost in knowledge? Where is the knowledge we have lost in information?
T.S. Eliot
At ACIG, we have a unique approach to information service review, design, improvement and transformation.
We don’t just design systems to reflect current business practices.
Instead, we build business improvement into the design and implementation of information systems, services and practices.
Why automate a workflow without reviewing and improving the business process first?
Why design information architectures or systems that cannot adapt to future change in the way an organisation does business?
We have highly experienced and qualified information and knowledge management professionals who offer the following services.
- Information Management
- Information and process architecture
- Information governance and quality management,
- Records and document management
- Digital archiving and preservation
- Information Systems Procurement, Design & Implementation Management
- Information Services Management (based on ITIL)
Whether you need a qualified records manager, and enterprise information architect, a process architect or an ICT services management consultant, we can help you. We are independent consultants without any commercial relationship with technology vendors, so you can trust us to be impartial and to put the needs of your business first.
Projects
Melbourne Water is owned by the Victorian Government. It looks after Melbourne’s water supply catchments; treats and supplies drinking water; removes and treats most of Melbourne’s sewage; provides recycled water for non-drinking purposes; and manages rivers and creeks and major drainage systems throughout the Port Phillip and Westernport region. ACIG is undertaking an assessment of information risks. This activity will provide Melbourne Water with a prioritised set of risks and mitigating actions associated with information used by Melbourne Water to deliver its vision and corporate objectives.
The Victorian Department of Sustainability and Environment engaged ACIG to evaluate the current state of knowledge management practices, systems and culture at DSE, and to articulate a ‘theory of action’ that describes a pragmatic way forward for achieving DSE’s knowledge management aims.
ACIG consultants worked with the NT Department of Health to review the effectiveness of organisational performance management systems and processes.
